disease

CD Clinic provides counseling and testing for various contagious or communicable diseases to all ages under age 65.

* Hepatitis B and C are blood tests for which the client must pay prior to service.

* CD Clinic also provides testing and treatment for latent or active tuberculosis (TB). Charges for services are on a sliding fee scale but all TB medications are given to the client without charge.

* Testing for HIV can be done confidentially (like all other LCHHS testing) or anonymously (client does not give his/her name to LCCHS-LCCHS gives a number to identify test results for that person) if the client prefers. There is no charge for anonymous testing, but donations are always welcomed.

* It also offers testing and treatment for males and females who think they have symptoms of or have been exposed to a sexually transmitted disease (STD), and their partners. STD treatment is provided at the time of diagnosis with medications kept at the clinic specifically for that purpose. Charges for services are on a sliding fee scale but all STD medications are given to the client without charge.

Interpreting services for Spanish-only speaking clients are available on-site. All CD Clinic services are by appointment only in either Lincoln City or Newport LCCHS Clinic sites.
