The Port is accepting applications for a Maintenance II or III position in the Recreational Marina. See the job description below for further details.

Minimum Qualifications:
1 years experience with Heavy equipment operations
1 year experience with Forklift
1 year experience operating landscape maintenance equipment
General knowledge of repairs
Requires 2-4 years maintenance troubleshooting experience
Must have a valid Driver License
Must have or be able to obtain CPR and First Aid Certification
Must have high school diploma or equivalent
Must pass a background check

Other desired experience and knowledge:
Knowledge of federal, state, and Port of Newport rules, regulations, and procedures pertaining to Port and Marina operations.
' Some knowledge of firefighting techniques.
' Must have valid Oregon driver's license.
' Must maintain a good public relations attitude toward the general public.

Applicants will be screened for minimum qualifications. The Port may choose to fill this position as a Maintenance III position depending on the applicants experience and knowledge.
